Since I have a feeling there is probably a very simple explanation from one of the knowledgeable people here, and probably just a system preference I need to change in the program (I hope!) – I am posting this here. My system could handle the preview window in top quality with my crappy dual-core processor, so why am I having a problem now? The smoky light effect tunnel zooms in to the glitchy logo reveal, giving this template a real 80’s vibe. I tried changing the settings on the preview window and the problem improved by switching to “Draft (Quarter)” or possibly “Draft (Half)”… but, obviously, it looks pretty bad. The Cinematic 50’s style logo template is a beautifully designed and animated composition, perfect for music videos, creative filmmakers, and event. Good thing I don’t suffer from epilepsy or I would probably be in the hospital by now. However, it’s introduced a weird problem in the preview window where it flickers out (almost kind of a blinking effect) while playing back, making it REALLY annoying to work on anything longer than a few minutes. And indeed, it now kicks butt on the render times. I took a long break from video editing but during that break I’ve upgraded my processor to a hex-core to better facilitate it (and everything else I do.) than the old duel-core processor I had. There is only one thing that really elimintaes the problem, you right click on the clip in Premiere 6.5 (still picture) select videooption and then flicker remove. I am using stills only, taken with a brand new digital Canon EOS 300D.

I’ve searched for people with similar problems but have not found any that match. Some of my pictures are flickering and pumping so bad that one would think they jump off the TV tube. The Pan and Zoom: Image File produces the highest quality output, as it allows the Pan and Zoom plugin to extract as much resolution as needed from the image file.

Why are there two variants of Pan and Zoom in After Effects, Premiere Pro and Motion. Hi there, been a while since I posted here. To animate an existing photo or video clip on your timeline, select its layer and apply the Pan and Zoom: Project Media effect instead.
